Spring 2005. Brian took photo's and I shot this roughly 3 year old Gobbler with a 11 3/8" Beard and 1 1/8" Spurs. We were in a tent in the middle of the field. We had a hen decoy set up around 25 yards to the SW of us, when a real hen came to hang out by our decoy and help our chances. Once I saw this bird out of the corner of my eye, I had around 30 seconds to set up. He would not stop to listen to any noise I made because he was so intent on the hen. I shot him in full strut at around 35 yards. What a bird! Brian did a drawing of this photo, which turned out really well. Thanks B!
